Melaleuca’s Financial Freedom Award winners grace the stage at Convention 2008 in Salt Lake City
In a world where declining economies and
collapsing financial institutions rule the
headlines, a fully paid-off mortgage or a
solid retirement nest egg are extremely
rare. Melaleuca Marketing Executives are
developing true residual income and putting it
to good use eliminating their debts while most
people are losing their retirement money and
feeling the crunch on their personal finances.
Consider some statistics: In 2007,
lending institutions foreclosed on more than
1.2 million properties—a 75-percent increase
over the previous year. As of the date of this
writing, more than 760,000 Americans have
lost their jobs in 2008 alone. By contrast,
Melaleuca helped 180 Marketing Executives
achieve financial freedom awards in this year
alone, bringing the grand total to 229. At
Convention alone, Melaleuca celebrated its
biggest mortgage burning party yet with 14
Marketing Executives who’d paid off their
homes. The year 2008 is clearly the biggest
year for financial freedom since Melaleuca
began giving awards so many years ago.
Burning a mortgage is, for most, a
lifelong goal. The progress of the Marketing
Executives who’ve used their Melaleuca
incomes to pay off their mortgages is a
testament to the power of a strong Melaleuca
business. Below you’ll read about the 14
Marketing Executives who set fire to their
mortgage papers at Convention—how they
saved, how they sacrificed and how they used
their Melaleuca incomes to make a thrilling
difference in their lives.
Directors IV Gina and Dean MacMorris
Dean MacMorris says he and his family have
always relied on principles to guide their
financial decisions. “I developed a personal
mission that would act as a guide through my
daily and weekly planning over more than 12
years,” he says. “It is a constant reminder of
the need to focus on eliminating debt along
with many other important principles. It is
so similar to what I heard when I attended
Financial Freedom University with Director of
Wellness Development Jeff Stutz.”
