Melaleuca’s Vice Presidents of Sales
Travis Garza
National Vice President of Sales Travis Garza
joined Melaleuca in March of 2003 as the
Assistant Director of Business Development
and was later named as Regional Director
of Sales where he worked closely with
Melaleuca business builders in the South,
Northwest, Southwest and Southeast United
States. As National Vice President of Sales, he is currently
responsible for Melaleuca’s sales initiatives throughout the
United States.
Prior to joining Melaleuca, Travis served as Vice
President of Sales and Marketing for Telaservicing Innovations,
which was named to the Inc. 500 as one of fastest privately
held companies in 2000. While at TST, Travis worked with
clients such as HBO, Wells Fargo, Direc TV, Qwest and Time
Warner.
Travis earned a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Idaho State
University in Pocatello, Idaho. In his spare time, Travis loves
to ski and is actively involved in coaching youth baseball,
football, basketball and wresting. He also enjoys watching his
daughter dance and spending time with his family.
Johnny Morgison
National Vice President of Sales and Country
Manager of Canada Johnny Morgison hired
on with Melaleuca in October of 1993 as
the Regional Director of the Southeast. In
January 1995, as the Southeast Region
grew rapidly, Canada was added to Johnny’s
responsibilities. Since then, those regions
have proven to be two of Melaleuca’s best markets. Johnny
has 29 years of sales experience— 15 with Melaleuca and
14 years as a Factory Direct Distributor for Kirby Vacuum
Company. He was also the director of sales for an Occidental
Petroleum division for six years producing and marketing
coal and natural gas to large industrial and utility companies.
Johnny was recently quoted as saying, “Your success in life
and business are determined by leadership. Think about it:
dads and moms must lead their families by their example. Of
course the same is true in business; it’s all about leadership.
Melaleuca is blessed to have dynamic leaders within the
management team and within the field who have influenced
our success, and I’m proud to be a part of it!”
Johnny has been married to his wife, Karen, for 32 years
and has two grown sons and a 4-year-old grandson. He’s a
private pilot who loves all outdoor activities, including boating,
fishing, hunting, running and golf.
Chris Nelson
National Vice President of Sales Chris
Nelson enrolled as a Melaleuca Marketing
Executive in March 1988 and advanced to
Senior Director only five months later, the
13th Senior Director in company history.
Melaleuca hired Chris full time as one of the
first Regional Directors of Sales in 1992,
and shortly he was promoted to both Vice President and later
National Vice President of Sales shortly thereafter.
With his vast experience as both a Marketing Executive
and now as National Vice President of Sales over the
Northeast and North Central Regions, Chris has gained keen
insights of how to successfully build a Melaleuca business.
Chris is a living example of Melaleuca’s Mission Statement
and possesses a deep passion and commitment to help others
reach their goals.
“Our ability to influence success in our Melaleuca
Business comes from example,” Chris says. “Example is
our greatest form of influence, and the basic activities of this
business remain the same no matter what status we have
achieved.”
When Chris isn’t in the office or on the road helping
others build their business you will find him fishing, guiding
float trips down the Snake River or spending time with his
family.
Chris and his wife, Tina, have been married for 32
years and are the proud parents of five children and seven
grandchildren.
